Project Description

This job consisted of careful demolition of the existing toilet and shower facility which were built around a high voltage electrical sub-station. The new works were a bespoke design consisting of an Arched Glulam Timber Frame and Yorkshire Dry Stone Walling with high level glazing. The emphasis was to use natural materials where possible and the design was inspired by the history of Whitby's boat building industry and the famous Whale Bone Arch which sits at the top of West Cliff.
